About this survey:
AI depends heavily on data for success.
Are your organization's data and data practices really ready to support your AI ambitions?
This short assessment covers:
1. General information about your organization and your role. This puts your answers into context.
2. Your organization's efforts so far to learn about and use AI. Success, failure, a mix? We will compare this against your answers to your capabilities.
Then, we'll look at whether your organization has data practices that make it easier/harder to:
3. Know how the data is being used for AI? We'll review how easy/hard it is to know whether your organization's use of data for AI is reliable, efficient, and trustworthy.
4. Used well? We'll review how easy/hard it is to know whether your organization's use of data for AI is serving the right purpose, methods, audience.
5. Be assured it won't create unwanted external outcomes? Are your organization's data and data practices going to reduce, or increase external risk (e.g. to customers, suppliers, stakeholders) typically associated with AI activities?
6. Be assured it won't create unwanted internal outcomes? Are your organization's data and data practices going to reduce, or increase internal risk (e.g. to operational continuity, audit, and supervision) typically associated with AI activities?
Your first, instinctive/gut answer is more helpful than a precise answer. In some cases, if you don't know the answer, that "unknown" response choice is available to you. This is actually valuable feedback for the assessment.
Therefore, this should take no more than 20 minutes to respond.
Survey results, if/when shared with survey participants, are anonymized and are summarized only when there is a sufficient level of response to create enough range in the information to prevent potential attribution. Participants must 'opt in' in order for their responses to be anonymized and summarized.
